About the event
Hospice and palliative care are often confused with each other; hospice is care given at the end of life with the goal of alleviating suffering of all kinds, while Palliative Care can be provided at any point along the spectrum of illness. To put it another way, all hospice care is palliative care, but not all palliative care is hospice. We will clarify what these services can and can’t do and how they can help you and your loved ones. This session should feel as supportive as it does educational. Together, we’ll explore real life examples of loss and address your questions on the topic.
